Meet the President and Vice President Candidates
August 2022
The FIG General Assembly is going to elect two new Vice President and
a new President for the coming term 2023-2026.
Get to know the candiates
The current President, Rudolf Staiger, together with two of the four
vice presidents, Diane Dumashie and Jixian Zhang will end their term at
the end of 2022. Mikael Lilje and Kwame Tenadu were elected last year
(one year delayed due to the postponement of the General Assembly in
2020) for the term 2021-2024.
At the second General Assembly session on 11 September the candidates
will have the possibility to present themselves. They have however all
made a video presentation of themselves and presentation material.

all submitted material for emails to members and also a video.

Election
The candidates will present themselves in the second General Assembly
session on 11 September 2022 13:00-15:30 CET. This will take place in
Warsaw Poland, as part of the FIG Congress. It is also possible to
follow the session online. Elections will take place online.
The election of the two Vice Presidents will start shortly after the
second General Assembly session on Sunday 11 September. There can be up
to four election rounds.
The election of President will start on Tuesday 13 September and
there will be one or two rounds of voting.
Eligible to vote are member associations. Each member association in
good standing has been asked to submit one official candidates who will
receive the voting emails and cast the votes.
FIG Congress 2022
The General Assembly sessions 2 and 3 will take place during the FIG
Congress.
