Election of two Vice Presidents and Chairs Elect at the FIG
General Assembly in Stockholm, Sweden, 15 and 19 June 2008
The FIG General Assembly will elect two Vice Presidents to the FIG
Council in Stockholm 14-19 June 2008. At the same time also election for
Chairs Elect of all ten technical commissions will take place.
The Council has received following nominations for the two open positions

The Council has taken action to find candidate also for Chair Elect for
Commission 8 and for Commission 10 and will inform member associations as
soon as there will be further information. The Council is also taken action
to find a a new Chair for Commission 8 for 2008-2010 after resignation of
Mr. Simon Adcock in January 2008. The new Chair for Commission 8 will
be brought for decision of the General Assembly in Stockholm.
At the General Assembly in Stockholm each candidate will be given time
for a short presentation at the first session of the General Assembly on
Sunday 15th June 2008. The elections will take place at the second session
of the General Assembly on Thursday 19th June 2008.
