2nd FIG YOUNG SURVEYORS EUROPEAN MEETING
7 October, 2014 in Berlin, Germany
Dear friends and colleagues,
…. the FIG Young Surveyors Network Europe is going further!!!
After the great success of the 1st FIG Young Surveyors European Meeting held
in Lisbon in October 2013 the European Young Surveyors want to take the next
step!
During the 1st meeting more than 150 young surveyors, representing 32
countries, participated. This European wide coverage was particularly impressive
given that most of those Young Surveyors had never been to a FIG event before!
But now it is the time to let the European Young Surveyors make the next step
and to organise the next European Young Surveyors Meeting.
The European Young Surveyors Network together with KONGEOS joined forces to
organise this 2nd meeting; to get the possibility to come together again and
continue with the momentum started in Lisbon. Therefore we are proud, happy and
excited to announce our
2nd FIG Young Surveyors European Meeting
in Berlin on
7th October 2014
and we can’t wait to meet you all and continue our discussions
on the future of the surveying profession in Europe:
European Young Surveyors together for
tomorrow’s challenges
It is a 1 day event and we will guarantee a dynamic program. The
FIG Young Surveyors Network and KONGEOS (Conference of Geodetic Students) are
supported by FIG, FIG Foundation, CLGE, DVW, BDVI and OE.
Our organising committee with European Young Surveyors put a lot of effort to
cover the idea, vision and mission for this meeting. The program contains
workshops, group discussions and presentations about our challenges and
developments for our future. During the Meeting the best papers of the ‘CLGE
Students Contest’ will be presented too.
We will conclude the meeting with an unforgettable experience where all
participating Young Surveyors can enjoy a nice come together at the ‘CLGE
Students Meeting’ on the rooftop of TU Berlin.
And since this is not everything… the following day, 8th October 2014, Young
Surveyors have the chance to experience and attend INTERGEO. Therefore we would
like to kindly thank our supporters FIG, FIG Foundation, CLGE, DVW, BDVI and OE.
This meeting is important for European Young Surveyors: they are our future
and we all have to work together continuously for the further establishment and
development of the EUROPEAN YOUNG SURVEYORS NETWORK!
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Berlin with European Young
Surveyors together for tomorrow’s challenges!
Best regards and thanks a lot,
Eva-Maria Unger
