on your right after 100 yards.
- From Hannover (A2) and Leipzig, Nuremberg:

the AVUS (A 115) to Berlin-Zentrum. At the Funkturm follow the signs to

By rail
At Central station take a regional train or S-Bahn (any line in direction of
Charlottenburg, Westkreuz, Potsdam or Spandau) to ZoologischerGarten. The main
campus is only a five minute walk from ZoologischerGarten railway station. You
can also take a bus (M45, 245 oder X9) or the U-Bahn (Line 2) to Ernst Reuter
Platz (or you can stop a taxi and take a fixed rate short ride from
ZoologischerGarten).

- Tegel:
The airport is very close to the Main Campus. Take the airport shuttle bus
(X9) to Ernst-Reuter Platz (15 minutes) or take a taxi (10 minutes).
- Schönefeld:
This is across the city, so a taxi is expensive unless you can share the
costs.
- At S-BahnhofFlughafenSchönefeld take a regional train (RE7,
destination Dessau) or S-Bahn (Line 9, destination Pankow, change at
Ostkreuz to any train in direction of ZoologischerGarten). Leave the
train at ZoologischerGarten. From there you can walk down
Hardenbergstrasse (five minutes), take a bus (M45, 245, or X9), or take
the U-Bahn (Line 2, destination Ruhleben) one station to Ernst Reuter
Platz. (Or you can stop a taxi and take a fixed rate short ride).
- Take a 171 or X7 bus to the underground station Rudow and from there
take the Line 7 (destination Rathaus Spandau) to Bismarckstrasse, then
change onto the Line 2 (destination Pankow) and travel two stops to
Ernst Reuter Platz.
Both options take about an hour.
Plan your trip to INTERGEO 2014 in good time! Your destination is Messe
Berlin − South Entrance (EingangSüd). There are plenty of options to choose
from, including the special deals for INTERGEO offered by Deutsche Bahn and
Lufthansa.
By road
The “Messe” traffic guidance system will direct you via the city’s motorway
system – avoiding any holdups at traffic lights – to the “Autobahn
DreieckFunkturm” junction, where you take the “Messedamm” exit. Look for car
park P17, right outside the South Entrance.
Destination for GPS devices:
Messe Berlin, South Entrance
Messedamm 22
14055 Berlin
By rail
Suburban rail line S5 takes just 10-15 minutes from Berlin’s Hauptbahnhof or
Berlin-Spandau to “MesseSüd”. From there, it is just 5 minutes’ walk to the main
South Entrance (EingangSüd) of Messe Berlin.
Local public transport
Taxi ranks, bus stops, metro and urban rail stations are all located near the
entrances to Messe Berlin.
You will need a ticket for zone AB on buses, metro trains and urban rail to
travel from Berlin to the exhibition centre; likewise from Berlin-Spandau. The
Conference Permanent Ticket and in-company ticket cover all journeys throughout
zone ABC from 7 - 9 October 2014 including Potsdam and Schönefeld airport.
Please note: If you travel to Berlin using a BahnCard concessionary
long-distance ticket, the City Ticket is only valid in Berlin for zone A (within
the urban rail ring), which does not include the exhibition centre.
By air
The “South Entrance” (EingangSüd) of Messe Berlin is directly connected to
the city’s two international airports –Tegel (TXL) in the north and Schönefeld
(SXF) in the south-east – via its motorways and public transport.
A taxi from Tegel airport to the Messe complex costs around € 18 and from
Schönefeld airport the fare is approx. € 50.
The journey time by taxi from Tegel airport to the exhibition centre is just 10
minutes; or approx. 30 minutes using public transport (involving 1-3 changes).
The journey time from Schönefeld airport to the exhibition centre is approx. 60
minutes using public transport (involving 1-2 changes). A ticket for zone ABC is
required.
