Dear Colleague,
"Transparency" is a nice word, but what exactly does it mean? FIG
Commission 9 (Valuation the Management of Real Estate) wants to get an idea
of the state of transparency in local property markets.
Please help them. Transparency will be one of many topics at the FIG Working Week 2024,
too, and we hope that you will join us in Accra, Ghana - the registration is
now open - and transparent. Tours,
workshops, sessions, networking... all this awaits you. Chech
the programme at a glance. Pre- and post tours gives you an opportunity to
explore Accra and its surroundings, and several pre and post events will
give you an upgraded experience of the Working Week.Associations,
organisations, corporations - we hope you will attend and that you will
bring your young surveyors, too. FIG Foundation is offering a grant to four Young
Surveyors - send in your application now.
FIG President Diane Dumashie visited Ghana and met with a variety of people
spanning from school-kids to the CEO of the Cocoa Board. You cannot say
Ghana without saying Cocoa. Chintergeo took place with the attendance of co-conference
Director Stephen Djaba and Vice President Winnie Shiu .
Read about this and much more in this hopefully transparent November newsletter.
The call for nominations has been published. You can ask the
Engagement Committee for advise - they are here to help you. |
