Main Professional Achievements

• Modernization of the registration system for rights in public land ? Conception, development and implementation of the Register of the Domain of the State giving an integrated overview of all the rights and constraints affecting public land in Qu?ec. Promotion of the required legislative amendments before the minister and other organizations involved in the process of registration of rights and constraints ($18 million).

• Reform of the Qu?ec cadastre ? Establishment of the new cadastre and implementation of the GIS managing the cadastral information as part of the program to reform the Qu?ec cadastre ($ 900 million), affecting 3.8 million private properties in Qu?ec.

• International GeoConference Qu?ec 2007 ? Co-president of the largest congress of surveying and geomatics ever organized in Quebec which gathered 1200 participants from 40 countries. In charge of international relations and governmental partnerships. Co-chair of the FIG Commission 7 Workshop on land administration and sustainable development, which attracted 50 delegates from 20 countries and 5 international organizations.

• F??ation des g?m?res francophones (2005) ? Member and organizer of the Canadian mission which participated to the general foundation assembly of the F??ation des g?m?res francophones (FGF) in Rabat, Morocco.

• Implementation of the new Civil Code of Qu?ec (1994) ? Operations to implement the provisions of the new Civil Code dealing with immatriculation of immovables (cadastre).

• Foundation of the Association des jeunes arpenteurs-g?m?res du Qu?ec (Young Land Surveyors Association) 1990-1992

• Realization of a seminar pertaining Quebec?s borders ?Les fronti?es du Qu?ec ? d?hier ?demain? which made the front page of Le Devoir national newspaper (1992)
