FIG welcomes two new members

At its meeting on 13 January FIG Council welcomed two new members to FIG:

Academic member:

Institut Agronomique et Vétérinaire Hassan 2
department of Geomatics and Topographic Engineering
located in Rabat, Morocco

The University has returned as member of FIG again. They were previously member 2003-2007 and 2011-2014. Welcome back!

Correspondent Member:

Society of Geodetic Engineers, Geomatics and Surveyors of Venezuela (SIGGMA)

SIGGMA is a non-profit and independent organization, which seeks to take advantage of digital platforms to interconnect and enhance the synergy and cooperation between Venezuelan professionals and students of geodesy, geomatics and surveying, established in
different parts of the world.

While the association is being built it is admitted as a correspondent member of FIG, hoping that SIGGMA will soon become an association member.
