FIG Foundation Dinner and Greek EveningThe FIG Foundation Dinner, which this time is combined to a traditional Greek evening, will be held at the oldest Greek tavern in Plaka, "Geros Tou Moria", website: http://www.gerostoumoria-restaurant.com/, on Monday 24 April, at 19:00 (when the coaches will leave from Intercontinental Athenaeum Hotel). Plaka area is a nice venue underneath the Acropolis with narrow pedestrian streets, neoclassical architecture, and nice view over Athens and archaeological sites. The menu is a traditional Greek dinner with appetizers, salad, main course (choice between lamp, chicken or pork), Greek wine and dessert. A show with traditional live Greek music and folkloristic dances is offered. Cost: EUR 60.00 (includes meal, 1/2 bottle of wine or water, programme and transfers with coaches from the Intercontinental to Plaka area and back to the conference hotels). Part of the fee goes to the FIG Foundation to support especially young surveyors in their research projects. For registration please contact ERASMUS office.
